No-code solution for using form fields in autoresponder emails?

Hello, it appears that the only way for a form's autoresponder email to include values from the form field, is to create a custom autoresponder, which requires marketers to work with developers for something they expect to handle themselves. I'm thinking of Debbie's recent article stating, “I don’t want to talk to IT!”

Is there a low/no-code solution I'm missing to allow marketers to create autoresponder emails that allows using submitted form values?

If not, does anyone know if Kentico has plans to provide such a solution?

Thank you!!

Answer

It will be good to hear from Kentico but as I was working through a Kentico Xperience 13 migration I ran into this issue where the marketers were struggling with the loss of ability to manage form values in their autoresponder and email templates.

To that end I had created the package XperienceCommunity.FormNotifications. Sean Wright had spoken about how Kentico weren't wanting to force marketers to continue using macros as they could get quite technical. For the purpose of this package it does resolve marcos based on the name of the field.

It was implemented as a stop gap given what functionality was available in XbyK at the time I made the package. Its due for a review and I will probably get to that within the next week or so but if you have any feedback feel free to just create an issue in the Github.
