How to Extend Content Hub Multi-Filter to Match Assets by Folder Path?

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to extend the multi-filter functionality of the ContentHub asset list to filter items based on their Location path.

Specifically, I have hundreds of assets stored under a parent folder and its subfolders. I’d like to display only those assets that are located under a specific parent folder—essentially filtering by a partial match in the Location field.

Has anyone implemented a similar path-based filter or found a workaround for this?

Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated!

Although we do plan to enhance Content hub filtering in the future, we don't support folder filter (or custom filters) today.

If you really need more scalable and flexible content discovery and organization, taxonomies and smart folders might be your best option.

You can add multiple taxonomy fields to a content item and then use some for internal-only purposes (organization and discovery in the Content hub) and use others for external purposes like driving website search or related content links.
